An animated spot for BMW, produced as a fully CGI-based scenario: technology, performance and brand aesthetics in a modern context.
ABOUT BMW M
BMW M is the performance division of the BMW Group, building high-performance cars and the technology that surrounds them.
The Smart Assistant walks through charging, range and navigation. The camera stays calm, the interface elements float in space and anchor each function to the car.
Every scene was built entirely in CGI so that light, snow and reflections match the brand world exactly.
THE CHALLENGE
Showing an interface outdoors without it reading as an overlay. The answer was depth, parallax and reflections that physically place the UI inside the scene.
